Why We Changed Our Name

When we opened our doors as Premier Cabin Rentals in November 2002, we stated on our webpage that it was our goal to set a new standard in North Georgia's luxury vacation cabin rental market. Well... we've done that.

Over the last 3 years our “Golden Rule” business strategy, as well as our partnership with cabin owners who understand and embrace our policies, has proven extremely successful.

Unfortunately, this success has made us a target of the weaker and/or less ethical rental companies in the North Georgia area. Several months ago we were forced to place a banner on the Premier Cabin Rentals website stating that, despite statements to the contrary, we are not affiliated with any other company, hoping to warn potential renters against false links to phony “Premier Cabin Rentals” front pages that can be found on more than one of our competitors websites.

While we have been told that this should be considered flattering, two of the companies involved have exceptionally egregious reputations and we feel that being linked to them, even superficially, is a detriment to us and our homeowners.

As such, we decided to change the name of the company to First Class Cabins of Blue Ridge as of January 1, 2006. We will continue to maintain our Premier Cabin Rentals website as much of our business is based on repeat and referral customers, and will continue “co-branding” until both our past and present guests are familiar with our new “face”.

There's no way that we can keep the competition from attempting to fool the masses but, in short, if you don't see our family picture on the front page of the website, you'll know that you're not doing business with us!
